| The KUBSCAN is a portable, general purpose, phosphor storage plate (PSP) scanner designed for high contrast, medium and high resolution applications. Phosphor plates are durable and reusable, making them an economical and environmentally-friendly alternative to film units. Upon exposure to x-rays, the plate stores a latent image, which is scanned by KUBSCAN. Kubtec’s intuitive, feature-packed software then enables the user to enhance the digital image for immediate transmission or later use. |
