About the Role
KUB Technologies, Inc. (KUBTEC) has an opening for a full-time Senior Software Engineer in Stratford, CT. This role will lead our team for the next generation of software development for specimen X-ray imaging systems. The individual will have to understand the requirements, design, implement, deploy, and maintain. Must be able to contribute to full software development life cycle.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise a team of 2+ software engineers and assist others in the achievement of team goals.
- Contribute to the full software development life cycle.
- Facilitate architecture/design reviews and code reviews, bug/defect triage, and support well informed decisions towards business and Platform Engineering goals.
- Attend and actively participate in all Agile events as defined by the Platform Development Agile process.
- Implement key architectural/design patterns.
- Analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and product quality by recommending solutions.
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related role working in software development. In the alternative, KUBTEC would accept a master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role working in software development.
- 3 years of full stack software engineering experience including .Net, C#, C++, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), SQLite, GIT and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Tool
- 2 years of experience with hardware communication and integration using vendor supplied Software Development Kits (SDKs)
- 2 years of experience with object-oriented programming, various design patterns, test driven development and code reusability
- 1 year of medical device or regulated industry experience including creation of supporting design and development and validation documentation
- Experience with cross functional teamwork, including quality, manufacturing, service, and marketing teams
- 1 year of experience with image processing libraries including OpenCV
- Knowledge of and experience with building machine learning models for pattern recognition
